Samir Handanovic Set To Sign Contract Extension With Inter Until End Of June 2022

Inter captain Samir Handanovic is close to signing a contract extension with Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Slovenian shot-stopper’s current deal with the club is due to expire at the end of next season but as per this report he is set to extend his deal until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The talks are down to the final details and these should be ironed out in the next few days and once this happens the official announcement of the contract extension will be made.

Handanovic joined Inter in the Summer of 2012 from fellow Serie A club Udinese and has been virtually ever present for Inter ever since.

The veteran has made 332 appearances across all competitions to date for the club, in which he has kept 115 clean sheets. This season he has made 38 appearances across all competitions in which he has kept nine clean sheets.
