Trabzonspor have sparked an interest in signing Valentino Lazaro and have already made initial contact with Inter according to a report from Turkish news outlet Karadeniz Gazete.

The Turkish Super Lig side would like to add the Austrian national team defender, who is currently out on loan at Premier League side Newcastle United, to their ranks ahead of the upcoming season.

Lazaro only joined Inter this past Summer in a circa €20 million deal from Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin, but having struggled to break into the Inter team in the first half of the season he was sent out on loan to Newcastle United back in January with an option to buy attached.

In the first half of the season, Lazaro, who is contracted to Inter until 2023, made 11 appearances in which he tallied two assists. Since his move to Newcastle, the former RB Salzburg player has scored two goals in 13 appearances.
