Adolfo Gaich has shared his delight ahead of him completing a move from San Lorenzo to CSKA Moscow which is expected to be finalised just shortly.

The highly rated Argentine youth national team player is set to join the Russian Premier League side in an €8.5 million plus add-ons deal.

CSKA Moscow have pipped a number of clubs to Gaich, including many Italian clubs. In recent weeks and months the 21-year-old forward has been linked to Inter, AC Milan and Parma among others. He has also been linked to Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona in other reports in the media.

“I am going to a great team, it is a good first step for my career to arrive in Russia and later move on to a more important European league,” he explained in an interview with Argentine radio station Radio La Red earlier on today.

Gaich is expected to sign a five year contract with CSKA Moscow but his comments above show that he has ambitions to make more moves in his career.

This season he has made 13 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored five goals and provided one assist.
