Inter’s goalkeeping department will have a different look to it next season according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Club captain and current number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic will maintain his place in the pecking order but below him things will change.

Ionut Andrei Radu will become Inter’s back-up goalkeeper and will take the place of current back-up Daniele Padelli, who will become the third choice at the Nerazzurri.

The report goes on to explain that Inter had looked at signing Udinese’s Juan Musso to be Handanovic’s back-up and eventual successor but his €25 million asking price put them off and led to them deciding to use Romanian international Radu as the back-up instead.

The report does however imply that Inter could consider a move for Musso again at a later date due to the fact club management are big fans of him and have been impressed with him ever since his arrival at Udinese from Racing Club.
