Inter have chosen 23-year-old Romanian Andrei Ionut Radu as their second-choice goalkeeper for next season, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to extend captain Samir Handanovic’s contract to 2022, extending his current deal by one year. The plan is to bring back Radu from Parma, where he is currently on loan, in order to be the club’s second-choice shot stopper for next season and learn under the Slovenian veteran.

Current second-choice goalkeeper Daniele Padelli, who will renew his contract for one year until the end of next season, will become the third goalkeeper in place of Tommaso Berni, the report continues.

Radu started this season on loan at Genoa, before moving to Parma in January. He hasn’t made an appearance for the Emilian club yet, but made 19 appearances for the Rossoblu in the first half of the season.
