Italian Media Detail Inter President Steven Zhang’s Important Role At Suning

Inter president Steven Zhang is a significant shareholder in the family company the Suning Holdings Group, owners of the Nerazzurri, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The report details how the 28-year-old Chinese businessman isn’t simply a spokesman for the Chinese owners, who are headed by his father Jindong Zhang.

Instead, Steven Zhang is partners with his father and owns 39% of the Suning Holdings Group, the company that acquired 68.5% of the Nerazzurri in 2018. Jindong Zhang is the chairman of Suning.com, who are flying high in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange thanks to online sales and investor expectations.

The Suning group are working hard to build a strong project in Milan with Inter, the report continues, with their work evident in their acquisition of former Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta and former Chelsea and Italy coach Antonio Conte. Steven Zhang has been working closely with the executives to build a long-lasting dynasty at the club.
