Inter may be able to compete with Juventus for the league title this season, as only six points separate the rivals, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Milanese club are currently second in the league table with 71 points, only six points behind the Bianconeri. The Turin based club only need to win three games out of the next five to guarantee their scudetto win, but their recent form may lead them to falter at the final stages of the season.

Juventus have only earnt two points from the last three games, the report continues, and so the pressure is on in their clash against Lazio on Monday night. Inter, on the other hand, have seemingly bounced back after their poor restart to the season, winning their last two games 3-1 against Torino last weekend and 4-0 over SPAL in the mid-week clash.
