Roma have no interest in losing Bosnian veteran Edin Dzeko this summer, according to a report from Italian media outlet Il Romanista earlier today.
The report details how the 34-year-old Dzeko, who is contracted to the Giallorossi until 2022, has no interest in leaving the club this summer and his entourage have assured the club that the player is focused on remaining in the Italian capital.
The Rome based club are happy as they have no plans to lose their captain, who signed a three-year contract last summer.
Dzeko has made 39 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 3179 minutes. In that time, he has scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists.
Inter coach Antonio Conte is looking to sign experienced veterans this summer as he wants to close the gap with Juventus immediately, with Dzeko being one of his many targets. The Nerazzurri would prefer to focus on younger options.
