Inter will start Nicolo Barella against Roma tonight, with Conte also deploying Borja Valero ahead of Christian Eriksen, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInter1908 earlier today.

The report details how the 23-year-old Italian midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has recovered from a hamstring injury which has kept him out of the last four games and so will start against the Giallorossi tonight in Rome. Striker Romelu Lukaku has started to recover from his muscle injury but still isn’t fully fit and so will start the game on the bench.

Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez will lead the attack, the report continues, with Spanish veteran Borja Valero set to start ahead of Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, who played the full 90 minutes against SPAL earlier this week. Roberto Gagliardini will also start, so Conte will change the formation to a 3-5-2 to accommodate the three midfielders.
