Inter are seriously accelerating in the race to sign Hellas Verona talent Marash Kumbulla, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how Inter have started news talks with the Gialloblu regarding the 20-year-old Albanian defender, who is contracted to the Verona based club until 2022.

The two parties are in constant contact and the Nerazzurri are hoping to find an agreement with Verona for the player now, before defining the details of the deal in September, without rushing.

Inter will need to decide now whether they want Kumbulla next season or if they want to leave him on loan with Verona, the report continues.

Inter have already reached personal terms with Kumbulla for a contract lasting until 2025, with the player giving his consent to the move back in January. He has scored one goal and helped the side keep seven clean sheets in 26 appearances this season.
