Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has refused offers from other clubs and is happy to wait a year for a move to Barcelona, according to a report from Spanish media outlet AS.

The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine striker is happy to stay with the Nerazzurri for another year and they try to move to the Blaugrana at the end of next season.

According to the report, player has refused other offers because he only wants to play for the Catalan club, giving Barcelona some peace of mind. He also is grateful for the amount of effort that Barcelona have gone through to try and sign him this summer, the report continues

Despite what Inter CEO Beppe Marotta suggests, the report continues, Lautaro has expressed his desire to join Barcelona to the club’s management.

The 22-year-old also had one of his career highlights against Barcelona in the Champions League earlier this season, when he scored at the Camp Nou. He won’t force a move away but has made his wishes clear.
