Inter have denied having any interest in signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante to Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

The Frenchman has drawn links to Inter in the Italian media in recent weeks but the Nerazzurri club have denied reports linking them with him.

Despite Inter’s denial, the report goes on to explain that there is an element of likelihood as Kante perfectly fits the bill for the kind of midfielder that Inter manager Antonio Conte would like in his side.

The report goes on to add that Inter have a keen interest in signing Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali. At the moment talks between the two clubs have stalled due to them being unable to agree on a price.

Should the deal not take place and Inter pocket a large sum of money through the sale of Lautaro Martinez, the report concludes that it cannot be ruled out that Inter may go shopping in the Premier League, where they have shopped regularly as of late.
