Inter first team technical manager Gabriele ‘Lele’ Oriali has today been hit with a fine by sports judge Gerardo Mastrandrea for his conduct in yesterday’s 2-2 draw away to Roma.

Oriali has been given a fine of €5000 for the disrespectful attitude he showed to the officials during the half time interval at the Stadio Olimpico, but there is no further detail as to what he actually did.

Although it can be presumed that his attitude was due to referee Marco Di Bello’s controversial decision to not blow for a foul on Lautaro Martinez, despite having been informed by the VAR he needs to look at it again.

Oriali spent 13 years of his 17 year playing career with Inter between 1970 and 1983 and made well over 300 appearances for the club in that time.

Following his playing career with the Nerazzurri,  he also served as technical director for the club and he took up his current position this past Summer when he followed Antonio Conte through the door at the Nerazzurri.
