Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is one of the alternatives Inter are considering to Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter have developed an interest in signing Kante in recent weeks but he is out of Inter’s reach and that is why Inter have reignited their previous interest in his compatriot Ndombele.

Inter had shown an interest in Ndombele whilst he was at Lyon prior to his €62 million transfer to Spurs, where he has not lived up to expectations.

Ndombele has zero chemistry with current Spurs manager Jose Mourinho and the north London based club would be open to doing a swap deal with Inter.

The report from the Rome based news outlet claims that Spurs would like Milan Skriniar or Marcelo Brozovic in exchange for Ndombele, who is under contract until 2025.

This season Ndombele has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored two goals and provided four assists.
