Italian Journalist Fabio Ravezzani: “Once VAR Intervened How Could They Not Disallow Roma’s 1-1 Goal Against Inter?”

Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani discussed Inter’s tough 2-2 draw against Roma last night in a post on his twitter page.

The Milanese club are currently second in the league table after 34 games, sitting behind rivals and league leaders Juventus, who will face Lazio tomorrow. The Nerazzurri will be hoping for a Lazio win tomorrow, as a victory for the Turin based club would all but kill Inter’s dreams of the league title.

Ravezzani discussed the game, saying: “In my opinion VAR shouldn’t have to intervene for unspectacular fouls in midfield even if we then cancel the goal, see the one like Dybala’s against Atalanta. But once they intervene, how can you not cancel Roma’s 1-1 equaliser?”

Per me la Var non dovrebbe intervenire per falli non clamorosi a centrocampo anche se poi propiziamo il gol (vedi quello su Dybala con l’Atalanta). Ma una volta che interviene, come fai a non annullare l’1-1 della Roma?
