Manchester City have sparked an interest in signing Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Sanchez is currently out on loan at Inter from Manchester United until the end of the Serie A season and the report from the Turin based news outlet explains that City could easily meet United’s €20 million asking price for the Chilean plus afford his wages.
Manchester United would not be bothered by selling the former Barcelona player to their rivals due to the fact he is not part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans and is on the transfer list.
Sanchez joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer and has starred for Inter since the season got back underway last month having been put on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
This season Sanchez has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.
