Inter remain interested in signing Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal but are yet to speed up in their pursuit to sign him according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Contact is ongoing and Inter are looking to do a deal with Barcelona over the Chilean national team midfielder separate to any potential deal for Lautaro Martinez.

The Nerazzurri club could sign the former Bayern Munich player, who considers his time with Barcelona to be over, for a fee in the region of €8-10 million.

The report goes on to explain that the feeling is that Vidal could complete a move to Inter where he would join on a two year contract.

33-year-old Vidal, whose contract with his current employers expires at the end of next season, has made 42 appearances across all competitions to date this term.

In his time on the park, which totals just shy of 2200 minutes, Vidal has scored eight goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
