Inter manager Antonio Conte has sent a message to Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen with his recent tactical choices according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The January transfer window recruit has struggled to perform to expectations since his arrival at the club and Conte has recently started to experiment when it comes to who plays in the attacking midfield role.
In training prior to the Roma draw at the weekend, Conte trialled both Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella in the position and he proceeded to deploy Brozovic in that role in the match itself.
The former Italian national team boss has also played Borja Valero there as of late and Alexis Sanchez has also seen some action in that position as well.
Since his arrival, Eriksen has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date. In just under 900 minutes he has scored three goals and provided as many assists.
