The match official assignments for the upcoming round of Serie A action have been announced and Piero Giacomelli has been assigned to referee Inter’s match versus Fiorentina.
The 42-year-old has refereed 17 matches across all competitions to date this term. Tomorrow night’s match will be the third time he referees a match involving Inter this term whilst it will be the fourth time he referees a Fiorentina match.
In the matches he has refereed this season, Giacomelli has dished out 63 yellow cards and a single red card, with that red card coming in one of the matches he refereed Fiorentina in.
Valentino Fiorito and William Villa will be the assistant referees to Giacomelli whilst Daniele Doveri will be the fourth official for the match at San Siro, which is scheduled to kick off at 20:45 local time.
Luca Banti will be in charge of VAR for the match and will have Giorgio Schenone alongside him to assist.
