Inter are looking to add several experienced players to their ranks in the upcoming transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Last Summer Conte wanted a number of experienced players brought to the club but did not get all the players he was after.

Conte feels that if Inter want to close the gap with arch rivals Juventus, who are on the verge of clinching a ninth straight Serie A title, they cannot afford to waste any more time and he therefore wants similar players again alongside some new experienced names.

As per the report from the Rome based news outlet, Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen, Roma captain Edin Dzeko and Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri are all understood to be on the club’s radar.

The report goes on to add that Inter have in fact already agreed personal terms with Emerson and negotiations with Chelsea are at an advanced stage. The Nerazzurri club could also look to involve Kante in negotiations but to afford him an important sale needs to be made and that does not necessarily have to be Lautaro Martinez.
