Inter & Man Utd Yet To Find An Agreement Over Alexis Sanchez Loan Extension

Inter and Manchester United are yet to strike an agreement over a further loan extension for Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Sanchez’s loan was recently extended until August 5 which means he will be able to play in the Europa League last 16 match against Getafe on that date.

The two clubs are continuing to negotiate a potential further loan extension which would enable the Chilean national team player to play in the latter stages of the competition for Inter, should they progress.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter hope that Lautaro Martinez will be able to find form again just in case they are unable to extend Sanchez’s loan.

Lautaro has been out of form since the 2019/20 season got back underway but having him back in form for the Europa League would certainly increase the Nerazzurri’s chance of success.
