Italian Media Report Antonio Conte Will Remain At Inter Over Next Season Despite Recent Outbursts

Antonio Conte will still be in charge of Inter next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Whilst Conte has had his outbursts throughout the season, in which he has often taken swipes at club management, the club management think it has been a positive season, especially given Conte had secured Inter a place in the Champions League with four matches to spare, which is seen as a good step forward.

The report goes on to explain that Conte will stay in charge at least until the end of his current contract, which runs until 2022, which he earns €12 million plus €2 million in add-ons from each year.

Conte took charge of Inter this past Summer when he succeeded Luciano Spalletti. The 50-year-old former Italian national team boss has managed Inter in 45 matches across all competitions to date, of which he has won 26.
