Hellas Verona have sparked an interest in signing highly rated Inter youngster Lucien Agoume according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Gialloblu club are looking to bolster their midfield department for the upcoming season and the report claims that the 18-year-old Frenchman sits at the top of their wish list.

Agoume joined Inter this past Summer from French side FC Sochaux and despite being an almost ever present feature on the bench for the first team this term, he has been limited to just over an hour on the pitch, spread across three appearances.

Agoume is widely regarded as one of Inter’s best prospects at the moment and he has drawn comparisons to Manchester United star and compatriot Paul Pogba on numerous occasions.

The France under 18 national team player is under contract with Inter until 2022 and recent reports have suggested Inter are keen to hand him a new long term deal.
