Inter and arch rivals Juventus are competing against one another for two of the best Italian talents out there at the moment in Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo and Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

Despite Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta recently denying that there are any negotiations taking place  for both players, this report explains that both players perfectly fit the mould of player that the Nerazzurri club are after with them both being young Italians with lots of potential.

Neither Roma nor Fiorentina are understood to be willing to let either player leave their clubs on the cheap and the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to add that neither club are certainly inclined to grant any discounts.

This season Zaniolo has scored eight goals and tallied two assists in 29 appearances whilst Chiesa has scored eight goals and provided seven assists for his teammates in 34 outings.
