Joao Mario has revealed that he will think about his future over the coming days following the end of his loan spell with Lokomotiv Moscow.

The Inter owned central midfielder spent the past season on loan at the Russian Premier League club and his loan with them came to an end today.

“My relationship with Lokomotiv Moscow ends here. Fortunately, the season has been positive and the team qualified for the next edition of the Champions League,” he began an interview with the online edition of Portuguese news outlet Record.

The former Sporting CP player, who joined Inter back in 2016 in a circa €40 million deal, then went on to reveal that he is aware that there are a number of clubs who have an interest in signing him in the upcoming transfer window.

Reports in the media have linked him with the likes of Marseille among many other sides.

“Now I will spend a few days on holiday and think about my future. I know through my representatives that there is interest from several important European clubs, I will calmly study the next step of my career.”

This season Joao Mario made 22 appearances across all competitions to date. In just over 1800 minutes on the park, the 27-year-old, who was part of Portugual’s EURO 2016 winning side, scored one goal and provided six assists for his teamates.
