Just like in the first meeting between the clubs, Romelu Lukaku once again struggled against Fiorentina last night at San Siro, a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport highlights.

Lukaku could not find a way past Bartłomiej Drągowski when the sides drew 1-1 in Florence earlier on this season and was unable to find a way past Pietro Terracciano last night, despite having various chances.

Not only did Lukaku struggle in front of goal last night but he failed to have much luck with either of the two strike partners he played alongside. He started alongside Alexis Sanchez and then played alongside Lautaro Martinez in the second half.

Lukaku is currently Inter’s top goalscorer this season with 27 goals to his name and he has three league games and at least one Europa League match to become just the fourth player in the past 30 years to score 30 goals in a season for Inter.
