Manchester United wish to find a buyer for Alexis Sanchez according to a report from the online edition of English newspaper Manchester Evening News.

Prior to last night’s goalless Serie A draw at home to Fiorentina, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta confirmed that the Nerazzurri are in talks with Manchester United over a further loan extension.

The Chilean national team player joined Inter in a season long loan this past Summer and that loan was extended until August 7 at the start of this month to allow Sanchez to play in the remainder of the Serie A season plus Inter’s Europa League last 16 clash against Getafe.

With Manchester United seeking a permanent buyer for the 31-year-old former Barcelona player, it remains to be seen how talks with Inter could be impacted.

This season Sanchez has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.
