Andrea Ranocchia will be drafted into the Inter starting line-up for tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash away to Genoa according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.
The experienced Italian defender has found regular playing time very hard to come by this season and is set to make just his fifth Serie A start of the 2019/20 season.
Ranocchia will come in in place of the injured Stefan de Vrij, who he replaced on Wednesday night when he picked up the injury in the frustrating goalless draw at home to Fiorentina.
The report goes on to explain that the attacking tandem of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez will be back together with the latter set to make a return to the starting line-up having started Wednesday’s match on the bench.
The highly rated 22-year-old will take the place of in-form Alexis Sanchez in Antonio Conte’s team for the match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
