Italian Media Report Inter Coach Antonio Conte Wants To Win The Europa League At All Costs

Inter manager Antonio Conte wants to win some silverware with Inter at all costs targeting the Europa League according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

As per the report, the Inter team have made a pact to finish the Serie A season as best as possible and then give their all in the Europa League to try and win it.

Inter are just four wins away from Europa League glory and will resume their bid to win the trophy for the fourth time in club history on August 5 when they take on Getafe in the last 16.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter president Steven Zhang and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta both want to get Inter back to winning things, seeing as the club have not lifted silverware since 2011.

Whilst Conte is focused on winning the Europa League this season, his main goal is to dethrone Juventus and become Italian champions. The report concludes that winning the Europa League will certainly help Inter out as winning breeds winning.
