Inter Coach Antonio Conte Wants Players Who’re Already Adapted To His System To Win Immediately

Inter manager Antonio Conte is already thinking about next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Conte was appointed on a three year contract this past Summer and whilst he was not obliged to win the Serie A title at the first time of asking, the report claims he will undoubtedly be annoyed at not finishing in top spot.

The 50-year-old is well aware that there is still a gap between the Nerazzurri and Juventus, who are on the brink of securing a ninth straight Serie A title, when it comes to quality, squad depth and winning mentality.

Conte does not wish to wait until the final year of his initial contract with the club to lift silverware and wants players functional for his system to be added in the upcoming transfer window.

Conte wants players who are immediately ready. Things will have to be carefully planned in order to avoid the friction that has been seen throughout this campaign.

The report from the Rome based news outlet concludes that Inter are not thinking about parting ways with the former Italian national team boss nor is Conte thinking about leaving his post.
