Winning the Champions League is the only way that Barcelona will be able to move for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Minor transfers will be able to be achieved by the the sales of the likes of Jean-Clair Todibo, Rafinha and Moussa Wague but big transfers are dependent on how they fare in the Champions League.

Without winning the Champions League, which would bring in all important revenue, it is inevitable that Barceona would have to break up their squad due to the current financial issues that they are facing.

Barcelona have been courting Lautaro for a considerable amount of time and although they have reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Argentine, they have struggled to meet Inter’s demands for the 22-year-old striker.

This season Lautaro has made 42 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 18 goals and provided six assists for his teammates.
