Inter still see Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali as a top target and are now working to reach an agreement with his club, according to a report from Italian media outlet Sky Sports Italia earlier today.
The report details how the 20-year-old Italian midfielder has impressed in his debut season in Serie A with Brescia, and seems destined to leave this summer as the club plummet back down to the second tier of Italian football.
However, crosstown rivals AC Milan are also interested in signing Tonali, but the Nerazzurri are one step ahead, the report continues.
Inter have been in contact with Tonali for some time now, the report continues, butt the most important step will be to reach an agreement with Brescia, who are open to selling the Italian this summer.
He has made 33 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring one goal and providing seven assists in that time.
