Manchester United don’t want to extend Alexis Sanchez’s loan deal at Inter for two reasons, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the Red Devils, like the Nerazzurri, will be competing in the Europa League next month and could still face the Nerazzurri in the tournament, and so don’t want to face the Chilean on the pitch.
The second reason is the Premier League outfit also want to sell the player permanently as soon as possible and don’t wish to pay his wages in August, instead preferring to sell him quickly.
Manchester United value the 31-year-old Chilean at €20 million, the report continues. One of Inter’s ideas include a possible exchange with Croatian forward Ivan Perisic, who will return to Milan after his loan expires with Bayern Munich.
Sanchez has scored three goals and provided 10 assists in 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
