Serie A sporting judge Gerardo Mastrandrea has announced that two players that should be involved in Inter’s league clash against Napoli on Tuesday evening will be suspended, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini and Napoli forward Dries Mertens will both be suspended for the Inter-Napoli clash on Tuesday evening, due to picking up yellow cards in their previous games against Genoa and Sassuolo respectively.

Other players who will miss their next game are Brescia’s Daniele Dessena and Atalanta’s Rafael Toloi.

AC Milan’s medical doctor Stefano Mazzoni will be both suspended for a game and slapped with a €5000 fine for protesting one of the referee’s decisions in the Rossoneri’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta on Friday and being disrespectful towards the referee.

Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia received his third booking of the season against Genoa, with captain Samir Handanovic picking up his first yellow of the season.
