Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is set to return to squad training today, hoping to be fully fit in time for the Nerazzurri’s Europa League clash against Getafe on the 5th August, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 24-year-old Italian midfielder suffered a biceps femoris muscle injury just as the season was restarted, and so hasn’t featured for the club since his brief appearance against Napoli in the Coppa Italia semi-final on the 13th June. The player has finally started to recover from his injury and is expected to join coach Antonio Conte’s squad in training today.

The Inter staff want Sensi to be fit in time for their Europa League clash against Getafe on the 5th August, the report continues, and don’t want to rush him in time for their last two league games of the season, against Napoli and Atalanta. Conte will be happy with the 24-year-old’s return, as he can finally look to rotate the tired midfield more.
