Inter are waiting for Chelsea to sell full backs Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso this summer, so they can sign one of the pair, according to a report from English tabloid the Daily Mail earlier today.

The report details how the Blues are looking to sign Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kai Havertz this summer, and are confident of securing a deal for the 21-year-old German midfielder, regardless of whether or not they qualify for the Champions League today.

Even if they missed out on a top 4 finish, the Blues would still look to find an agreement for the player, worth around €100 million.

In order to fund the deal for Havertz, Chelsea will be selling multiple players no longer needed by coach Frank Lampard, the report continues. Two of these players include Inter targets Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso, and so the Nerazzurri are waiting for the London based club to cash in on their full backs before launching an offer.
