Italian journalist Paolo Condo discussed the Nerazzurri’s slick 3-0 win over Genoa last night, as well as their season overall in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia immediately after the game.

“This season must be considered by everyone, starting with the coach, a constructive season. Restarting their assault on Juventus.

“The Bianconeri had some problems this year that maybe they won’t have next year, so Inter must increase their pace. They can’t settle for getting to where Juve are right now.”

Condo then identified one Nerazzurri player that has impressed him in the win over the Rossoblu.

“One player who impressed me a lot was Moses, who has been very wavering so far. He has brought crosses from distance which are the rarest goods at the moment.”

The Nerazzurri’s final two games of the season are against Europa League hopefuls Napoli and a hungry Atalanta squad, who are only one point behind the Milanese club.

Despite his previous comments, coach Antonio Conte is desperate to guide Inter to a second place finish in the league, not least because of the €15 million bonus of finishing second compared to fourth.

The Nerazzurri will then jump straight back into the Europa League, with their first game a single legged match against Getafe on 5th August, three days after their game against Atalanta. Their next game is against Napoli on Tuesday evening.
