Inter are one step away from agreeing terms with Brescia over Italian international midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have already reached an agreement with the 20-year-old Italian midfielder’s entourage and have now submitted an offer worth almost €35 million for the player to Brescia, adding that an agreement between the two clubs is close.

Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte has given his approval to the deal provided that another important investment is made in the midfield, an experienced player who knows how to win, the report continues.

According to the report, Brescia president Massimo Cellino is pushing to close out the deal with Inter, the report continues, but isn’t against the idea of selling to AC Milan in case a bidding war should ensure, something AC Milan want to avoid.

The Rossoneri are fans of the 20-year-old Italian, but don’t want to compete with Inter for his signature and so are waiting for a possible opening, should one arrive, the report concludes.

Tonali has scored one goal and provided seven assists in 34 appearances this season.
