Inter can sign Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez permanently from Manchester United for a figure of around €20 million, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.
The report details how the 31-year-old has impressed since the restart of the season, despite suffering from a tendon injury that ruled him out of the majority of the season.
The player was brought on in place of Lautaro Martinez yesterday in the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 win over Genoa, with the player scoring the second goal of the game.
Inter would like to keep Sanchez, the report continues, but are still in talks with Manchester United. First, the Milanese club are working to extend the Chilean’s loan until the end of next month, which would allow him to play in the Europa League, should Inter beat Getafe on the 5th August. A permanent deal for Sanchez would cost around €20 million and talks are currently ongoing.
