Inter are have proposed a deal worth €15 million to Manchester United for Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez, according to report from Italian media outlet La Repubblica.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to close out a deal with the Red Devils for the 31-year-old Chilean forward, who would join the Milanese club on a loan deal with an obligation to buy attached, set at €15 million at the end of next season.
The Premier League club are considering the offer, as it would save them £18.2 million per season in wage costs on the former Arsenal star.
Sanchez initially struggled to impress in Milan, the report continues, after suffering at tendon injury only weeks into his Nerazzurri career.
After the restart of the season, the Chilean began to show his former qualities and his consistent attacking threat has impressed coach Antonio Conte and fans alike. His current loan deal ends on the 5th August, after Inter’s game against Getafe in the Europa League.
