Udinese are hoping to keep a hold of Inter target Juan Musso for another season, in order to sell the 26-year-old Argentine goalkeeper at a higher price, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Udinese number one has impressed this season, showing clear improvements over last year and commanding his defense in a more structured way.

Inter have been looking hard for a long-term replacement for aging captain Samir Handanovic, who is likely to feature as the Nerazzurri’s starting goalkeeper for the last time next season.

Musso has been identified as a possible replacement for the Slovenian, the report continues, but the Milanese club haven’t launched a definitive assault to sign the player. Taking advantage of this, Udinese are hoping to keep the 26-year-old for another season, in order to sell him for a higher price next year.
