Inter and Alexis Sanchez both want to continue with one another according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.

Manchester United want €20 million for the Chilean international and have zero intention of granting any discounts or accepting any players as part payment.

This will come as a blow to Inter who had thought about a possible swap with Ivan Perisic and also want to spend no more than €15 million on Sanchez.

There is daily contact between the two clubs over Sanchez and the report goes on to claim that time is running out for Inter, seeing as the current loan expires in 10 days time.

Inter could try and land Sanchez on a season long loan with obligation to buy deal and states that Manchester United are well aware of Inter’s desire to keep Sanchez and will only let him go in an outright deal.

The report also goes on to explain that Inter are counting upon Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich, who was crucial in a deal being reached between the two clubs last Summer. Felicevich will be in contact with Manchester United’s Ed Woodward today and will try and find a solution that satisfies everyone.

It goes on to conclude that when it comes to affording Sanchez’s wages, Inter will have no problems in striking an agreement with him due to him wanting to stay in Italy. By signing a three year deal Sanchez’s wages could be spread across that period and the club could also take advantage of the Italian tax laws.
