Barcelona will make another attempt to sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter in August according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The report explains that the Blaugrana club could come back in for the Inter striker at the start of next month once the Serie A season is finished and hope that the player will try and force a move away from the Nerazzurri, who he is under contract with until the end of the 2022/23.
The report from the Turin based news outlet further explains that Inter have plans to offer the 22-year-old forward a new and improved contract with the club.
Should the player refuse a new deal, Inter could then think about selling him and could well accept a counterpart in any deal with Barcelona with that counterpart possibly being Arturo Vidal, who Inter manager Antonio Conte wants to reinforce his side.
The report concludes that if Lautaro is sold, it will be difficult for Inter to find a replacement for him.
