Marash Kumbulla is edging closer and closer to a departure from Hellas Verona according to a report from Nerazzurrisiamonoi.it.
Inter and Lazio are vying for the signature of the highly rated Albanian national team player and Hellas Verona have already started seeking out potential replacements for the 20-year-old with Portimonense’s Mattheus Guedes understood to be on their radar.
Hellas Verona want €35 million for Kumbulla but neither Inter nor Lazio have offered that fee upfront. Inter have offered €28 million plus Eddie Salcedo whilst Lazio have offered €25 million plus Andre Anderson.
Kumbulla has had his first team breakthrough at Hellas Verona this term and is widely regarded as one of the best defensive prospects who is currently plying his trade in Italy.
This season Kumbulla, who has a contract with Hellas Verona until 2022, has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just shy of 2100 minutes, he has scored one goal.
