Paris Saint-Germain have sparked an interest in signing Hertha Berlin star Mattheus Cunha according to Brazilian media reports, as cited by Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Brazilian attacker impressed following his move to Hertha Berlin in January and on top of Paris Saint-Germain, he has also been linked with a potential move to Inter.

Cunha is understood to have reservations regarding a potential switch to Paris Saint-Germain especially when it comes to playing time, which he may get less of there than he would at Inter.

Hertha Berlin want €40 million for the former RB Leipzig player but Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio could try and make the most of the good relations with the German club and get them to reduce their demands. Inter could even insert a counterpart into a deal.

The report goes on to explain that Inter moving for Cunha largely depends on what happens with the club’s current attackers, especially both Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez.
