Stefano Sensi is aiming to make a return to action in Inter’s upcoming Europa League last 16 clash with Getafe in just over one week’s time according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian national team midfielder has been plagued by injury over the course of this season and he not featured once since the season resumed and his last appearance for the club dates back to the end of January, when Inter drew 1-1 at home to Cagliari.
Sensi is currently following a personalised training schedule to help aid him in his recovery from injury and things are going positively.
He will continue on this schedule until after Inter’s final league game of the season against Atalanta this weekend and will then return to training with the rest of his teammates.
Sensi has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
