Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia to share his thought’s on the first half between the Nerazzurri and Napoli at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The former Torino man was asked if he felt tired given the congested fixture list, he underlined that although fatigue was an issue it was one for both teams but not an excuse anyone should hide behind.

“It is normal and a foregone conclusion for both us and them, but it can’t be an excuse. Then in these situations there’s always more space and more chances, but we did well do close down and we have to score the second goal to close the match.

“I dedicate my goal to my children Leonardo and Luduvico and to Diego Godin because he is a great professional.”

Inter lead the first half 1-0 thanks to a goal from Danilo D’Ambrosio.
