Roma captain Edin Dzeko will only be able to leave the club if they recieve an irrefusable offer for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Dzeko’s agent Silvano Martina met with Roma management yesterday but this was for administrative and bureaucratic reasons and nothing to do with a potential transfer away from the club in the coming months.

There are currently no ongoing negotiations involving the 34-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina national team forward, who has been linked once again with a potential move to Inter ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

This season the former Manchester City player, who is contracted to Roma until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 41 appearances across all competitions to date.

In his time on the park, which totals just under 3400 minutes, he has scored 18 goals and has provided his Giallorossi teammates with 13 assists too.
