Inter youngster Rigoberto Rivas had admitted that he is not thinking about a possible return to Inter and is solely focused on the coming season at Reggina.

Rivas spent last season on loan at Reggina as they were promoted from Serie C and he will also spend this coming season on loan with the Reggio Calabria based side.

“In a week we will start preparations for next season. I’m happy to be here, I have a contract until June 2021,” he explained in an interview with the online edition of Honduran based news outlet Diario Deportivo Diez.

“Inter? I am thinking of doing well this year. There is the possibility of returning to Milan but I am focused on this season.”

22-year-old Rivas joined Inter at under-19 level back in 2016 on loan from Prato and he was signed outright the following Summer.

The Honduran national team player, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season, has spent every season since out on loan with him having had loan spells with Brescia and Ternana.

This past season the 21-year-old made 17 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored two goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
