German Tabloid Give Update On Result Of Between Inter Linked David Alaba & Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich officials met with David Alaba’s representatives for talks over a new contract and they went far from positively according to a report from the online edition of German news outlet Sport BILD.

In the past few weeks Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic met with George Alaba, Alaba’s father and agent, as well as his advisor Pini Zahavi.

Alaba’s current contract with the Bundesliga champions is due to expire at the end of the upcoming season and according to the report, Zahavi asked for his client to be handed a contract worth €20 million a year and he shared his belief regearding the cash flow that the club would benefit from in the future.

Salihamidzic proceeded to ask Zahavi what world he is living in and whether he actually believed what he was saying by making such requests, especially during the current situation around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the report claims.

Alaba has been linked with several clubs including Inter, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona as of late and speculation is only likely to mount the longer he goes without signing a new contract.
